This opened on May 3rd, 1963 Its grand opening ad can be found in the photo section for this drive-in.
Final night of operation was September 9, 1984 with a “Zombies” triple feature: “Zombies Rage”, “Revenge Of The Zombies” and “Astro Zombies”. Although the ad in this date’s paper indicated “See you next year”, the May 7, 1985 edition of The Green Bay Press-Gazette showed on the front page that the Valley Outdoor would not reopen.
The address above is incorrect. This drive in was further SW. A more accurate address for this theater is 1651 Lenwood Ave, Green Bay, WI 54303. This points directly to the entrance road. The drive in itself is now Deerbrook Apartments. Part of the outline of the theater is still visible next to the apartment complex.
