The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that in 2008 Cobb and AMC Theatres competed for this location. Cobb prevailed and started building CinéBistro in 2010, and opened it on September 23, 2011. Included are seven screens with 760 “Ultra-luxurious, roomy high-back leather rocking chairs".
CineBistro includes a “menu prepared from scratch each day using only the finest and freshest ingredients available. To complement it all, with premium cocktails, extensive wine selections and movie-inspired drinks. Traditional movie snacks featuring popcorn, sodas and your favorite candies, a stylishly-appointed lounge where you can gather with friends and family in comfort".
In January of 2014, the Journal-Constitution reported that Cobb Theatres was suing AMC Theatres: “In the antitrust suit filed this week in U.S. District Court in Atlanta, Birmingham-based Cobb Theatres, which owns CinéBistro, said AMC is using its market dominance to coerce film distributors to deprive Cobb access to films and to coerce landlords to not lease theatre space to the company".
It was taken over by CMX Cinemas in October 2017. It was closed on March 16, 2020 due to the Covis-19 pandemic. In April 2020 CMX Cinema filed Chapter 11 for bankruptcy. It was announced on September 3, 2020 that the closure would be permanent. It was taken over by LOOK Dine-In Cinemas and reopened on November 4, 2022.
