The El Con 6 was opened by TM Theatres on August 16, 1979. It was closed on September 1, 1997, & demolished the following year to be replaced by the Century El Con 20 Theatres (now the Cinemark 20 El Con Theatres).

August 12th, 1979 grand opening ad in the photo section. It opened up on the 16th.
