Nearby Theaters
Located east of Bartlett Township to the west of Winona. Opened prior to 1953 as Carter’s Drive-In. by 1953 it was renamed the Winona Drive-In. Car capacity was 200. The last owner was Robert Counts and the drive-in closed in the early-1980’s.

I’ve found a drive-in west of Winona.
The address is Co Road E-450 and County Rd 60-445, Winona, MO.
The drive-in sat on the NE corner of the intersection. Today, it appears to be commercial property. You can still see the basic outline and the ramps.

The renaming must have occurred before Dec. 5, 1953, when BoxOffice mentioned that Carter Smalley of Van Buren MO operated “the 250-car Winona Drive-In between Eminence and Bartlett.”
