The first comment for this theater, and it looks like it’ll be among the last; it’s been announced that this theater will be replaced with a new 14 screen theater across the street inside Lloyd Center. The new theater will also be a Regal. This one will be demolished for a new apartment complex when the new theater opens sometime in 2019. Opened on December 19th, 1986. Grand opening ad posted. It never got rebuilt.
Act III took over the theater on April 30, 1989. However, United Artists originally planned to take over the theater by June 5, 1988 but was immediately scrapped by Luxury before the deadline that April.
