Opened as the Jordan Theatre by 1934, it was renamed the Rio Theatre in late-1937. The theatre seated 178 and was open at least into the late-1970’s.

The Jordan Theatre actually opened as early as 1934, although I cannot find its opening date. It was renamed the Rio Theatre in late-1937.
