The Star Theatre opened in 1927. It closed in 1932 and reopened in 1936 as Macy’s Hall. In 1944 the theatre was remodeled and expanded. The name went back to the Star Theatre. It went from 100 seats to 200 seats. The Star Theatre was still open in 1957.
