The 155-seat Lyceum Theatre opened in 1927. The theatre was closed from 1931 thru 1940 when it was reopened. By early-1973 it had been renamed Lakota Theatre and was still open in 1982. Following closure, it stood vacant for several years and was demolished in the mid-1990’s.

The Lyceum was later named the LAKOTA Theatre. It was in operation at least as late as 1982. The manager at that time was Raymond Kintz. In the mid 1990’s the theater, long closed and dilapidated, was demolished.
