The Star Theatre was listed as open on April 26, 1914. It seated 250 and was still open in December 1927. Possibly closed in early-1928.
The building was a sushi restaurant, but it is now closed.

An article in the April 14, 2017 issue of the Lafayette Journal & Courier noted the Star Theatre as one of the downtown movie houses in operation by 1915.
Opened as the New Star Theatre around April 26, 1914. It was still open in December 1927, but most likely closed around 1928.
