Located just off Coldharbour Lane near Loughborough Junction Railway Station in the southeast London inner-city district of Brixton. The Whirled Cinema occupies one of the railway arches under the tracks, while the adjacent arch houses an artists studio.
It opened in February 2010 and has 60 luxurious leather seats, and a cocktail bar. Programming consists of art house foreign films. It is a ‘members only’ cinema, and membership costs 99 GB Pounds a year, which entitles the member an indefinite number of free visits per-annum, plus free admissions for a guest.
