The 400-seat Village Cinema 1 & 2 were opened on February 2, 1973 with Topol in “Fiddler on the Roof” & George C. Scott in “The New Centurions”. It was expanded to 4-screens on July 23, 1982 when two small screens III & IV opened in former retail space close by. It was closed in 1990. Towards the end it ran art house movies. The site became retail and has since been demolished.

In 1982 2 more screens were added in another part of the shopping center.
This opened on February 21st, 1973 with two screens. Grand opening ad posted.
Opened on 2/2/1973 n screen 1 with “Fiddler on the roof” and on screen 2 with “The new centurions”.
