The Novelty Theatre was opened prior to 1936. It seated 201 according to the Film Daily Yearbook’s of 1941, 1942 & 1943. Also listed as (Closed) in those years, together with the towns' Elk Theatre and Pioneer Theatre which both had 200 seats.
