Located in a renovated 14th century barn at Dartington Hall, Dartington to the north of Totnes, Devon. Alterations were ein 1936 but German architect Walter Gropius and it became the Dartington Arts Centre. During the 1990’s films were programmed by the British Film Institute, as this was one of their Regional Film Theatres. Films are shown in the 190-seat Barn Cinema. There is also a 120-seat Studio Theatre. The Barn Cinema is a member of the Europa Cinemas group of arthouse cinemas.

Looks amazing
The Barn was a mixed use theatre which was part of he Dartington College of Performing Arts. Following the relocation of the college and subsequent closure of the Dartington site, the hall has had a more public remit.
