Located in the small town of Aubonne on Lake Geneva, to the east of Lausanne. The Cinema Rex was opened in 1956.
In June 2004 it was taken over by the city of Aubonne. Renovations were carried out in April-August 2011, including the installation of digital projection & 3D facilities, and it re-opened on 26th August 2011.
