Pathe Cinema De Kuip

Architect Sjoerd Soeters designed five buidings where amongst is a policestation and a megastore. The one in the middle is the cinema. With 2746 seats and 14 rooms (5 large and 9 smaller) it is Rotterdam’s largest cinema. The central hall has skewed connection bridges to separate large visitors crowds. In the center ther’s a large selfservice candyshop. Outside on the right side of the building six curved metal screens suggest the sails of a boat.
