Did it screen the batman movie(tv series version)!!
I think it was the movie version of the tv series, i don’t think the batbike and sidecar, and batcopter were in the tv series as well!!
Came across the Batman photo in a discussion of the Adam West TV series. Note the Airport Theatre sign in the background, top right. That appears to be the marquee behind the helicopter frame. This would have been taken at the north end of Van Nuys Airport property, I think. Circa 1966-68, based on the run of the TV show.

The March 7, 1966, issue of Boxoffice reported that Jack Grossman’s Holiday Theatres chain had just opened its latest hardtop, the Airport Theatre.
Did they ever show “AIRPORT” at the Airport Theatre?
The entire block across from the Home Depot has been razed, and something is being built there. Status should be closed/demolished.
I lived right off Roscoe near Sepulveda, and went to the Airport several times in the early 1970s. I remember seeing a reissue of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service there. Nice little nabe.
I remember this as a comfortable, quiet and out-of-the-way alternative to the relative bustle of Panorama City’s Americana multiplex in the late 1960s. By “quiet,” I mean uncrowded; air traffic noise from nearby Van Nuys Airport was occasionally audible.
Strictly speaking, though, the Airport Theater’s address wasn’t in Van Nuys. Its location on the north side of Roscoe Boulevard put it in Sepulveda (back then), now rechristened “North Hills.”

On 4/29/77, the Airport was showing a double feature – “A Star is Born” (1976 version) and “Carrie”. The phone number was 892-1181. Tickets were $1.50 until 7 p.m. Mon-Thurs and until 3 p.m. Sat-Sun.

This theatre was built and operated by independent theater owner Jack Grossman from the time it opened until it closed in the 1980’s.
Hans David used to manage this theater in the 1970s. He is still head projectionist for universal.
