This new theater, adjacent to the library was built in 2013 on the original site of the Ridgefield Playhouse. The façade is an exact replica of the historic theater and was designed by Doyle-Coffin Architecture.
It opened November 20, 2014 and operates as an independent first-run cinema with 4-screens.
