The Twilight Drive-In was opened in 1952. The car capacity was listed at 200 cars. The drive-in closed in 1979 and was immediately demolished for a Walmart which opened in July 1980. (W. Everly Brothers Boulevard is the same as U.S. 62)

Use 1500 W Everly Brothers Blvd, Central City, KY 42330 for this one. Google now places 1500 without the W a few miles down the road from where this was at. The W puts it in the right place.
If this is the drive-in that was located south of the Walmart on the opposite side of the road, then it was demolished, but nothing replaced it.
Today, it is overgrown with trees and no trace of the drive-in remains save perhaps for a faint outline.

The Twilight Drive-In closed in 1979 and was demolished immediately afterward. The Walmart that was located in the theater’s spot opened on July 25, 1980.
Was actually open as early as 1952.
