The Sanborn Insurance Company listed the Electric Theater at this location in 1909. It was also listed in the Orange city directory of 1910-11.
On September 4, 1914, the new Colonial Theatre, operated by the Electric Theater management, opened across the street. The Electric Theater was refurbished and reopened as the renamed Starland Theatre on November 27, 1915. It was closed on August 28, 1916.
