The Lebanon Drive-In was opened on June 26, 1948 with “The Last of the Red Men” & Juanita Quigley in “Cinderella’s Feller”. The car capacity was 300 cars. The drive-in was operated by Ornstein Theatres and was later operated by J.T. & Cathy Reynolds who closed it on August 30, 1986. It was demolished in the late-1980’s.

The location of this Drive-in is West of the Hampton Inn at 1125 Loretto Rd, Lebanon, KY 40033. Highway 49 and Veterans Memorial Highway.
The entrance and exit roads are still there as well as a couple of ramps toward the back of the property.
In Google Maps it is the square shaped property just north of the Hampton Inn, pretty much unrecognizable as a former DI. The real question is why the heck is there a Hampton Inn there?
Launched by C.C. Simms and G.W. Gootee on June 26, 1948 with “The Last of the Redmen” supported by “Cinderella’s Feller” with Juanita Quigley.
A closer address is 1367 N Loretto Rd, Lebanon, KY.
Google Maps has updated their addresses and this puts it right on the property.
There is no trace of the drive-in remaining. It appears the property is being used as a dirt dump.

The Lebanon Drive-In closed on August 30, 1986, and was last operated by the husband-and-wife team of J.T. and Kathy Reynolds. The drive-in continued to operate as an entertainment venue before eventually demolished in the late-1980s.
