501 Drive-In

Located on Route 501 opposite the old livestock yard, which no longer exists. The 501 Drive-In was opened on May 30, 1951 with Doris Day in “Lullaby of Broadway” when it was operated by E.R. English. It was demolished in October 1970.

The Halifax Square Shopping Center is now on the site.
