The Fresno Bee reported on the opening of the United Artists Sierra Vista 6 on November 17, 1989. Its 1,800 Seats ranged from 200 to 460 seats per auditorium.
After United Artists 2000 bankruptcy, UA was taken over by Philip Anchutz and in 2002 was folded into Regal Entertainment Group. It closed on December 14, 2006, the day before the opening of the nearby Cinemas 16 at Sierra Vista Mall.
The theatre has most recently been used at Halloween as a haunted house attraction.
