The Hi-Peak Drive-In was opened on April 9, 1949 with John Hodiak in “Desert Fury”. It could accommodate 165 cars. The drive-in was privately owned and operated by Mr. W. Jones. The Hi-Peak Drive-In was still open in 1984, but had closed and had been demolished by 1988.

At the corner of Hwy 114 and 70, if you use the history in google earth the ramps are more and more visible the farther you go back, a business has been built at the front of lot citgo gas station. Street # for gas station is 1563 US 70, looking at google earth it looks like this may have been the same address for the drive in if you look at whats left of the roads they seem to come from that direction.

The drive-in sat on the SE corner of HWY 114 and HWY 70. It first appears intact in a 1951 aerial. And remains intact and apparently open in 1984. By 1998, the drive-in had been demolished with a gas station built on the north side of the property.
Today, the rest of the property is totally overgrown with no visible remnants using Google Maps.
