Flamingo Drive-In.

The Flamingo Drive-In opened on August 3, 1949 with Jeanne Crain in “Apartment for Peggy”. The capacity given for the drive-in was 500. The first Manager of the Flamingo Drive-In was Mr. M.F. George. This ozoner lasted until the mid-to late-1980’s. Operators for the ozoner were Queen City Booking followed by Piedmont Theatres. Not listed in the 1950 or back Hills City Directories. First listing was in 1951.
