Located in Nueva Gerona, on the Isla de la Juventud, off the south coast of Cuba. The Cine Teatro Caribe was opened prior to 1958.

This theater was NOT inaugurated on December 23, 1965. Located before Gral. Lacret Park, across the church of Our Lady of Dolores, it had 533 seats and was operating before December 31, 1958. http://www.panoramio.com/photo/4264106

The cinema built in 1950, with capacity for 533 seated persons, was the Cine Rialto, owned by Eleno Torres. This cinema name, was changed to Cine Victoria in the 1960’s, today is totally in ruins due to lack of maintenance and decay.
