Unlikely as it may seem, tiny Crook, Colorado (which once boasted a much larger business district, according to the ghost towns USA website) apparently had its own movie theatre, which still stands replete with double doors and boarded-up ticket booth. Opened in 1948, the large Quonset hut that forms the auditorium part of the building suggests a post World War II construction. It was closed in December 1962 following a fire in the building.
A large garage door has been added to the back of the Quonset hut, and it is now the office of V-Y Trucking Company.
