The UA 4 was designed by Dallas architect William Henry Hidell, who also designed a UA multiplex at Hurst, Texas, and the Cinema Plaza at Del Rio, Texas, and probably some others, though I haven’t yet been able to track them down.

The first “multiplex” theater in Little Rock. Converted to a bargain theater in 1987 and closed in 1994. The box office and concessions were combined in one central spot. There were 2 auditoriums to the left, another 2 to the right. 984 seats. It shared the parking lot with Southwest Mall (Ar State Police HQ now), a Putt-Putt, and El Chico Restaurant.
