The Trion Theatre was open in the early-1940’s. It was a rather large theatre for a small town, with seating for 900 on two floors. The Trion Theatre was renamed Community Center Theatre by 1950 and closed on May 12, 1958 with Burt Lancaster in “Sweet Smell of Success”.
It has since been demolished. The Trion Recreation Dept building is located where the former theatre stood.

I have uploaded a poster for the then Community Center Theatre from 1953. Wonder when and why the name changed for the last few years of operation.
It was unknown if this was an replacement of an earlier Trion Theatre, because there was an earlier Trion Theatre that operated as early as 1917.
The Trion Community Center Theatre closed as a movie theater on May 12, 1958 with Burt Lancaster’s “Sweet Smell Of Success” but continued operating as a special events theater for another year until September 1959.
