Located in the northeast of the city centre in the Belleville district. The Cinematographe Parisien was opened in January 1905. It was operated by Etienne Astier. In 1934 it was renamed Le Gavroche. By 1946 it had been re-named Cine Bellevue. On 3rd September 1962 an electrical short circuit in the basement set fire to old film reels being stored illegally. The fire spread upstairs to the foyer and 40 people were injured. It reopened on 15th May 1962. The Bellevue was closed in September 1989.
It was converted into a synagogue.
