The Martin Hanson Theater is located inside of the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center, west of Ashland.
The theater is open during the normal business hours of the Visitor Center. There is a list of films that can be played on demand at any time, by request. Many of the films are of local interest, as well as some historical documentaries.
The theater is named after Martin Hanson, a noted nature conservationist.

This isn’t a real theatre, lest anyone gets the wrong idea. This is a screening room inside the visitor’s center and it’s on the level of some (more affluent) people’s home theaters.
