The Olympic Theatre held its grand opening on February 17, 1890. The first stage production was “A Summer’s Dream”.

The Olympic Theatre was located near the Fountain Theater, both of which were located on Second Avenue West.

It seems to me that 1890 is too early for a film to be shown. From the description, “A Summer’s Dream” was most likely a live play.
