The 12-screen Galaxy Monroe opened in September of 2000 as Galaxy Theatres first Washington location. They currently have six 3D auditoriums and D-BOX motion chairs.
The Seattle Times noted that Monroe hadn’t had a theater since the days before television and that residents would no longer have to go to Woodinville or Everett for first-run movies.
