I uploaded an aerial showing the five Puente area cinemas from 1974 onwards.
It appears this location has installed IMAX with Laser in late 2018. This is their new multiplex single projector Laser system that is just rolling out to upgrade AMC and Regal’s existing IMAX locations.

The signature feature of this theatre is the freakishly large (by modern standards) lobby. The unit’s original department store layout, coupled with the relatively spartan design of a 90’s era megaplex, ended up creating a lobby that is reminiscent of an indoor sports facility.
funny how 20 plexes rate as a cinema treasure when they are main reason for the end of the good days of the theatre biz..
