Located across Colby Avenue from the Everett Theatre, the Roxy Theatre was opened on May 15, 1935 with Jan Kiepura in “My Heart Is Calling”. It was closed in 1973. Since demolished, offices have been built on the site.

This weblog post by David Blakeslee says that the Roxy opened on May 16, 1935. B. F. Shearer Co. of Seattle operated the house from its opening at least into the mid-1950s.
