Located on the corner of El Cajon Boulevard and 54th Street, and part of the Big Bear Shopping Center, next to Swensons Ice Cream. The Century Twin was opened in 1973. It had a seating capacity of 540, with 270 seats in each auditorium. One auditorium was equipped with mono sound, the other had a Dolby sound system. By 1987 it was operated by Ken Wilkerson as a popular bargain house. It was later converted into four screens.
It is now offices for the County of San Diego Health & Human Services Agency, and the shopping center has been renamed Boulevard Mart Shopping Center.
