Fay Honey started this theatre in July 1948 after he had run theatres in the midwest, and had his own company called Mid-States Theaters. It closed on May 14, 1955 because the U.S. Army was going to take over the area.
Honey would later own the Star-Vue Drive-In in West Richland, among a few others in the area. His wife would manage the Village Theatre.
Have not been able to find a full picture of the North Star Theatre, just an article featuring newpaper employees standing in front of the box office. It was taken four months before the North Star Theatre closed.
