The 82nd Street Drive-In opened in 1948. A second screen was installed in 1976 before closing in 1985. The drive-in marquee had remained at the entrance throughout the 1980’s until the land was purchased. Currently the home of the Johnson Creek Crossing shopping mall which housed the 82nd Avenue Six Cinemas from 1987-2004(It has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
