A neighborhood, primarily second-run theatre (although today, it probably would be considered downtown). Both Phil Sheridan and Myron Seifert agree that the Royal Theatre opened in 1911. The last Columbus Dispatch movie showtime listing appears to be on July 6, 1951.
Today, the site is used for office space.
