The Plaza 400 Cinemas first opened on November 9, 1978, located in the Ramada Hotel complex in downtown Prince George. Famous Players originally ran the Plaza 400 Cinemas, which contained two screens each seating 294, for total seating of 588. They closed the cinema October 1, 1992.
Landmark Cinemas took over the lease for the Plaza 400 Cinemas and reopened it on December 11, 1992. They renamed it the Coronet Theatre. The Coronet Theatre was closed March 16, 1998.

Here’s a photo of what happened to the old Plaza 400/Coronet theatre space not long after the Coronet closed. Appears the former cinemas were converted into a casino called Casino Hollywood for a few years.

Famous Players closed the Plaza 400 on October 1, 1992, and it was reopened by Landmark as the Coronet just over two months later on December 11, 1992. Links below:
