The Carolina Theatre was opened on July 4, 1930 with Warner Baxter in “Romance of the Rio Grande”. In 1935 new owners took over and they renamed it Andrews Theater with a seating capacity for 186. Another change of owner to Henn Theatres chain on February 25, 1944 who renamed the theatre, Henn Theatre, screening Olson & Johnson in “Crazy House”. In 1950, the Henn Theatre was operating with 400 seats. It was closed on February 28, 1957 with Ginger Rogers in “Teenage Rebel”.

The Carolina Theatre was the sound-era movie house in Andrews. It launched on July 4, 1930 with Delores Del Rio in “Romance of the Rio Grande.” Under new operators in 1935, the theatre was renamed as the Andrews Theatre. On February 25, 1944, the theatre under new operators becomes the Henn Theatre with Olsen and Johnson in “Crazy House.” The last advertisement for the Henn Theatre was February 28, 1957 with “Teenage Rebel.”
