Regency into a Wal-Mart

The Riverside Business Press noted that the Rialto 8 was opened by a Texas chain, Premier Cinema Corp. on October 10, 1997. In 2000 it was taken over by UltraStar Cinemas, who operated it until 2009 when Regency Theatres assumed management. It was closed in 2013, and was converted into a Walmart.

I Don’t see the theater’s showtimes on the Regency website, Is It closed or Is it now owned by another theater chain?

This Theater is now a Wal-Mart, But it still has the Rialto sign at the top of the building.

it sucks that it was turned into a wal-mart. and i’m geussing the only reason the sign remains of the former theater is because the removal of the sign would have to be done by the person who buys the place next and i think wal-mart probably didn’t feel like removing it because they’re like the worlds biggest superstore chain and taking down the sign is the least of there worries that is if the sign is still there. although without the sign i’d still reconise it as a former theater.
