The Broadway Theatre was a small quaint 2-screen theatre that opened on January 14, 1977 with William Shatner in “Mysteries of the Gods” & Eddie Albert in “Birch Interval”. It was operated by Odeon with seating listed at 451 for the two auditoriums. The theatre closed in 1987. There is a Holiday Inn on the site now.

The Odeon Broadway was part of the Holiday Inn. I stayed there in 1980 and saw “The Blues Brothers” in one of it’s cinemas.
Loved this cinema — it was down under the hotel; remember seeing the Frank Langella Dracula and the Klaus Kinski Nosferatu.
A Broadway theatre opened on this site in 1911 and taken over by Famous Players in 1933 and reopened after remodeling on Christmas Day, 1934. Closed 1961.
This opened on January 14th, 1977. Grand opening ad in the photo section.
The original Broadway Theatre was actually at Main and Broadway, opened October 16 1916 according to Moving Picture World.
