Battle of the Bulge

Cinerama is a widescreen process that, originally, simultaneously projected images from three synchronized 35 mm projectors onto a huge, deeply curved screen. Cinerama was named after that and it was the only cinerama-theater in Holland. The pictures were sensational, but it didn’t last long.

The Battle of The Bulge a film about “the Ardennen Front” in 1944, was produced by Warner Bros. in 1965. It was already made with the new 70 mm system.

As a publicity stunt they placed a tank outside. Photo: Collection Henk Berg
