Located in the west of the city centre. The Cine Duplex was opened in late-1947. It was built adjacent to the Cine Rex (which had opened in July 1938) and shared the same foyer. Designed by architect Luis Bonich and interior designs were by Manolo Alvarez. Seating was provided in orchestra and balcony levels, with the projection booth hung beneath the balcony. still operating in 1958.

This theater was inaugurated in 1947, located on San Rafael between Consulado and Industria, next to Rex Cinema and part of the complex. It showed “Intermezzo” with Ingrid Bergman and Leslie Howard.
Two small, beautiful movie theaters, next to each other in San Rafael between Consulado and Industria, the Duplex, seated 500 and the Rex Cinema, 750 people
Again wrong map location, see the former comment
We walked by it when we visited Havana in 2001. It was in ruins, smelled of urine, very sad!
