Located in Brownhills, Staffordshire, to the north-east of Walsall. The Palace Cinema was opened on 23rd December 1912. It was a very basic building, constructed out of wood, with a currugated iron covering. All seating was on a single level.
In 1932, it began to operate only in the winter months, and later still just on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday’s during those months.
In the Autumn of 1939, it was business as usual, but later in that winter, a heavy snowfall brought the roof down. It never re-opened.
