Within the advertising sections of the 1923 and 1924 Hartshorne High School Yearbook were large display advertisements for the American Theatre, “Home of Paramount Pictures - Foto Player Organ - Air Cooled - W.A. Weaver-Manager”.
In the 1928 yearbook edition W.A. Weaver was managing both the Criterion Theatre (had the American Theatre changed names?) and Liberty Theatre in Hartshorne.
At this time that is about all the information that is available. Anything you may have on the American Theatre will be welcome here!
