Located in Boardman to the south of Youngstown, OH. Cinemark opened the Movies 8 on February 26, 1993. Amenities include digital projection & sound, RealD 3D, self service ticketing and first run attractions. It was closed March 23, 2014.
It was taken over by an independent operator who also operate the Encore Cinema 6 and the Skyway Drive-In. They installed digital projection and it re-opened July 11, 2014 as an intermediate/2nd run theatre. The Boardman Movies 8 is now capable of screening 3D movies. Seating capacities in the screens are: 1 -181, 2 -192, 3 -192, 4 -156, 5 -262, 6 -136, 7 -136 and 8 -262.
In November 2025 it was announced the theatre would be closing by the end of the year, and the end came on December 31, 2025.
