The Edge Hill Theatre was opened prior to 1933, and continued until at least 1950. The owner of the Edge Hill Theatre opened a colored theatre adjacent to the Edge Hill Theatre for the use of African-Americans. It was called the Star Theatre. Both theatres screened the same program, with the reels being moved across from the Edge Hill Theatre to the Star Theatre
Today, the Village Lanes Bowling Alley stands on the site.
