Located in Brisbane city centre in the Queen Street Mall. Operated by the Birch, Carroll, Coyle chain, the Myer Centre 8 was originally located on the ground floor.
On 15th November 2001, they were moved to the top floor of the centre, in a joint venture with Hoyts & Greater Union Theatre (this one managed by Greater Union Theatre). The largest screen is Screen 7 which is a Vmax Cinema. In late-2009, it was equipped with 3D.
The Myer Centre 8 is now operated by Event Cinemas.

Opened on 15/11/2001 as Greater Union Hoyts Myer Centre Cinema(a shared arrangment begin Greater Union and Hoyts), Greater Union programmed 3 cinemas, and Hoyts programmed 5 cinemas. Taken over by Birch Carroll & Coyle in 2005 as Myer Centre. Taken over by Event Cinemas in(2010 or 2015?). Screen 1 – 173 seats, screen 2 – 123 seats, screen 3 – 118 seats, screen 4 – 118 seats, screen 5 – 118 seats, screen 6 – 123 seats, screen 7 – 294 seats, screen 8 – 462 seats.
