One of the few Jerry Lewis Cinemas built with a third auditorium (most were either single or twin screen operations). The cinema opened in February 1973 and was still open as the Jerry Lewis Cinema in March 1988. It most likely closed soon after.

Just curious, my dad worked in a Jerry Lewis Twin from 1972 thru 1985. The color scheme was Blue in Cinema 1, Red in Cinema 2. How did they do it in a 3 screen theatre? And did they use dual projection 6000' reel operation in all 3 booths?

Still open as of March 1988, and with the Jerry Lewis Cinema name. Article in the March 15, 1988 Washington Post mentions the theatre as the only one near Wash. DC. playing the Whoopi Goldberg bomb “The Telephone.” The article was about how this film bombed and was receiving scant distribution in anticipation of sales to television and home video.
